- Stores like Trader Joe’s, Aldi’s and Whole Sale Stores like Bj’s & Cosco’s have made higher quality foods more accessible In some respects.
- Ideally Its best to buy the highest quality of the following:
- Cage free + Free range eggs and chicken with no antibiotics (it should say this on the label). Save buying In bulk at wholesalers
- Wild Fish. Save by buying frozen.
- Grass fed beef
- Peanut and almond butter (Trader Joe’s best quality / price)
- Cheese
- Bread (Trader Joe’s best quality / price)
- Protein Powder
- Produce to buy Organic
- Apples. spinach, kale, strawberries, nectarines, grapes, cherries, peaches, pears, bell & hot peppers, celery & tomatoes
- But why? The non organic versions of these fruits tend to be sprayed with the most amount of Pesticides.
- I would recommend buying organic for any processed – packaged foods, to buy organic when you can.
