One of the most important parts of any fitness journey is saving yourself from the shame shit cycle. You know what that is, right? When you’re not doing the things you think you need or should do, and so you shame yourself. You feel bad about it. You feel guilty, then you feel bad about feeling bad.
That is the absolute worst thing you could ever do for yourself, for your health. Remember, at the end of the day, I know you wanna look better, of course. And if that’s the goal 100% who doesn’t wanna look good?
But at the end of the day, people, we work out because we need it for our health. We need it. So, isn’t it ironic that on our health journey we sometimes get tripped up and focused on what we’re not doing and then cause ourselves more harm by shame, by feeling bad. That’s not what the goal is. The goal is to feel better about yourself and feel good inside and out. So, start looking at the small things you can do and go from there.
