We’re cooking today D-fine readers! Joe Carabase joined Great Day Fitness for a short but sweet cooking segment that we think you’ll find extremely helpful for your wellness journey. Carabase showed us how to repurpose our leftovers for a nice budget friendly meal that took less than 5 minutes to make. Carabase says the more you cook for one meal the more you have left to stretch into other meals. This makes it easier to continue eating healthy and always having healthy options available to you. He starts to take us through this one pan recipe by greasing our skillet with some avocado oil. His ingredients include; rotisserie chicken, leftover vegetables from a soup he had made the night before, and gluten free pea pasta. He offers low sodium and gluten free options to keep you on the right track. For your flavor he recommends using liquid aminos, which is a low sodium alternative for soy sauce. Then he added everything but the bagel seasoning and a little onion powder and sea salt to top it off. Fun fact; when we start to consistently eat healthy we actually are not getting enough salt into our diets, so don’t be afraid to add in some of those healthy salts for your meals. Now add some honey to give it a little sweetness, which really helps kids enjoy it as well. Then you’re done! A quick and easy meal that doesn’t leave you feeling weighed down. Carabase is also offering an exclusive deal for WFSB listeners and watchers to get a free introductory treatment for our spot reduction therapy. 10 minutes under the light including a lymphatic drainage session.
