Our beloved ceo Joe Carabase joined WFSB for another Great Day Fitness segment! He spoke about how to elevate your consciousness, even with all the chaos going on around you. There are a million things going on in the world that are out of your control. What you can control is your mindset. He spoke about a book called “Levels of Consciousness,” where it speaks about shame being at the bottom of the pyramid and enlightenment being at the top. Your stress levels affect your mood. You could be having a bad day and have these overwhelming thoughts but then something that someone says, maybe their story that they share with you can change your stress levels drastically. You have to open your mind and allow yourself to seek enlightenment in all forms. It also helps to make intentional decisions as well. Understand what you do have control over. You can regulate how you speak to yourself, don’t be so negative. Carabase also mentions hypnosis and how this has helped a lot of his clients regain control and change their mindset. Now although hypnosis isn’t a magic trick or a solution to all, it is a short cut. When seeking hypnosis you want to be aware of the different types. There are some that are mainly for comedic purposes and then there are the ones that truly help with lifestyle change. You cannot be put under hypnosis unless you allow yourself too.
