On another fun filled Great Day Fitness special, Joe Carabase brings the energy with an interactive segment inspired by moving meditation. He encourages the audience to try these movements even at home to help real ease negativity from the body. First he wants you to think of something stressful in your life. Think of something that constantly weighs you down. Then visualize it as a large ball of energy that you are grasping in your hands. Allow your body to tense up, feel it in your hands and fingers then slowly start to push that energy away from your body. Moving slowly helps you focus on your breathing and allows you to have full control over your movements. Let go of what no longer serves you and slowly invite healing back in. These movements are especially important for people that don’t get to be active each day. Maybe you sit at a computer all day constantly typing and you want to get that blood flow back. Many don’t know this but the key to movement is your hips. You have to get your hips moving, then your spine and that really helps your body get a jump start. Using tools such as hypnosis and meditation are things that we encourage our clients to do here at D-fine.
