This week on Great Day Connecticut’s Fitness Segment, our trusted owner Joe Carabase offered some advice about how to prepare for the holiday season while still enjoying all of our guilty pleasures. Carabase discusses building a plan around the days that you expect to eat more carbs, such as holiday parties or office functions. You should plan to consume more carbs during those events and then more fruits and proteins on the other days of the week. The key to it all is having a healthy balance and not depriving ourselves of the things we like. This also includes substitutes for the sugary cocktails or high carb alcoholic beverages.
