So we all saw the FDA ban red food coloring, Red Dye number 3, usually found in various candies, vegan meats and even icings that children love. Our founder Joe Carabase went on “Great Day Connecticut” fitness segment, to not only discuss this long awaited decision by the FDA, but also to talk about other poor food/snack choices that are still being advertised to our communities. Carabase spoke about not leaving it all up to the government to look out for our children’s best interest, we have to take control. One item in particular that he suggests we caution away from is cereal. All cereal especially for children, there are ingredients that can affect their behavior and mental cognition. Carabase went on to say that you have to look further than the box saying it’s gluten free because it could still be piled with a lot of unhealthy  items. The goal is to cut back on all of the sugar thats added. Some of the alternatives that Carabase suggests is “Vans Pancakes or waffles” because it’s packed with nutrients and grains. Another option he offers is sour bread, “Lesser Evil” popcorn, and “Yum Earth Organics” lollipops. Plenty of meal and snack substitutions, for your families. Along with this, D-Fine is also offering a new program; “Slimmer in 3 Weeks- Guaranteed!” We are offering 3 holistic spot reduction sessions, 3 metabolic boost POD sessions, 3 lymphatic drainage sessions and an easy start eating guide! We’re not only trying to help the children but the parents as well! You can get 10% off when you mention WFSB. Check out the video above and sign up this month!
